Report on ticket sales for Richmond, Virginia concert

I got in line outside the Landmark Theater, the theater formerly known as
the Richmond mosque, at about 6:00 the Friday before the tix were to go
on sale. There were 8 people in front of me, but soon after I arrived
the line stretched around the first corner of the building. Everyone
around me was very excited, of course, cause the Man hasn't been here in
about 7-8 years (Symbol album tour). Purple circle seats for this event
were only available by standing in line at the Landmark( a 3,613 seat
theater if they use the orchestra pit, which they did), or over the
internet. We were ushered in the theater at 10 'til 10 this morning, and
I was able to score 4 seats in the center section, on the floor, row B!
Considering I was in the last row of purple circle seats for the Miami
Arena jam of the Year concert, nailing these seats were a shock.
Everyone around me in line was more than friendly, and all of us had
bonded by midnight Friday, keeping would be line cutters at bay. Overall
an incredible experience. By the way, thanks to everybody who works on
this website so diligently to keep us P fans happy and up to date on
Prince info!
