There was a brief mention of Prince and Vanity by the
author Jackie Collins on a chat show hosted by Ruby Wax
yesterday (30.Oct.00).



The programme is a discussion forum where the topic of
discussion led to the number of famous actors/actresses who
had bad childhoods and Vanity was mentioned as an example.
After which Jackie explained who she was and that she used to
see Prince, to which Ruby did a "sqiggle" sign with her hands
which prompted Jackie to explain about the name change back
to Prince.



Not groundbreaking news, but was interesting in as much it looked
at the amount of famous people who had bad childhoods and this
could relate to their need to perform and gain attention (love?)
from their audience.
