Last Friday on the german news comedy show "Freitag Nacht News" on RTL (http://www.rtl.de) was a scene that mentioned Prince.
They make always strange jokes but this was very strage. Here is the short version:



[The host is sitting in the studio, the reporter is reporting from a secret political meeting or something]


Host: What are they talking about?



Reporter: I don't know, it's all secret.



Host: Well, there is a part in your contract, when you don't know the answer to a question you have to do what you are told to.
Now make a somersault or you are fired.



[The reporter gets angry but does it]



Host: Who takes part in this meeting?



Reporter: I don't know.



Host: Now write idiot on you head.



[The reporter does it. While the reporter stands there with "IDIOT" written on his head, the host comes with the next question]



Host: What's the real name of Prince?



Reporter: I have no idea, but what has this question to do with the report?



Host: I don't know.



Reporter: Ah, I've read your contract too, it's like mine.
Now I tell you what to do. Sing your favorite Prince song.




[... and the host starts singing some lines of "Kiss" in a falcetto voice]




Funny story, but I don't get the punch line.
