I'm not saying I believe her, but 2 things spring to mind:

1) People seem to forget that Prince's reputation with women isn't exactly that of "the perfect gentleman." Between his lyrics, his longtime misogynistic themes (Vanity 6, Apollonia 6 -- hooker acts that sing in lingerie) where women are his sex toys, for instance -- and his knack for dating much-younger women (the easier to control, possibly), he really has the m.o. of someone who might be down with the sort of allegations Ms. Friend makes. I'm not saying he did it, but it's possible.


2) This isn't the first instance I've heard of Prince trying doing the telepathy thing. I believe I heard similar reports about his relationship with Mayte. And, I know for sure I read reports of that being part of his relationship with Kim Basinger. The recurrence of the telepathy angle in this woman's lawsuit is noteworthy, to say the least.

Remember that the public *generally* knows as much about celebrities' personal lives as those celebrities allow or publicize.

We really don't know what Prince is into. He could be a boring monk, or he could be the man portrayed in these allegations. We just don't know.

I believe I heard similar reports about his relationship with Mayte.

Don't get confused between spiritual relationship and telepathy... Besides all this seems to be a best of from all the previous things said about him...

While she does seem a bit nutty, Prince did bring this on himself. What problem could he possibly have with her selling his coats?

A gift is a gift. And as such, if one wants to sell that gift, one has every right to. In the court of law, Prince's action to stop her from selling those gifts just wouldn't hold up---being that they were GIFTS.
