Mel B (more popularly referred to as "Scary Spice" of the Spice Girls) was on the lot
this week filming her latest music video for entitled "Word Up". The shoot took
place on sound stage 16 Monday, June 14. It was a very long shoot, (to say the
least) 25 hours long to be exact! Mel B was clad in various costumes, using a
variety of sets from the latest Austin Powers movie The Spy Who Shagged Me. The
film's character Mini Me (played by Mr. Verne Troyer) is featured in the video as
well, dancing along side Mel B. The video is scheduled to air in approximately 2
weeks, and the song (which is a re-make of the original Cameo tune) is featured on
the Austin Powers 2 soundtrack.
