Just a report on the recent party held at the Bitter End in NYC hosted by the Prince tribute band "Days of Wild": A blast was had by all last Saturday night. Members of the Maryland/DC fan club were in the house for this special show, and they didn't sit once all night. Their "Meeting of the Minds" was a bust, however; New Power New York who were expected to attend sadly never arrived. The Maryland/DC fams were looking forward to hanging with the NPNY crew, the band had arranged it at the door for all NPNY fams to enter for free. In any case, those who did make it were treated to funky renditions of tunes like: Days of Wild, America, Pretty Man, Sign O the Times, and a special performance of the Sly Stone classic, Stand (which must've brought back memories for Guyocious, Days' drummer who is also a former drummer for Sly).
