Still more on the last Paisley performance Yet more on September 8 Paisley show:
Prince had his hair done up like he did for the "Come On" T onight show appearance. Rhonda had the same style. His shirt did resemble the one on the GRES maxi single but up close you could see an egyptian motif on it. Egyptians doing their thing with the hands and such....He also had a medallion like necklace on but it was seemingly always facing his chest so couldn't make it out.. One funny moment no one's commented on and perhaps couldn't see (you should have been where I was!): At one point with DVS on the stage, Prince grabbed his bottle of water for a drink and stepped up next to Kirk on percussion. He then wandered over behind Morris and basically behind the stage and taunted some of his associates at Stage left. He acted like he was gonna throw water on them (the lid was on) by shaking the bottle in their direction. Well, the lid popped off and water went flying! He probably got some on himself! He threw out his hand in apology, shaking his head, saying "I'm sorry" to the person right below him and then went dashing back on the stage and around Morris obviously distressed that water was getting ready to come right back at him! Turns out it was Tina Graham (Larry's wife) that he got all wet! He met her at the stairs and they had some laughs. Larry was playing away so had missed all this interaction between his wife and little bruh. Later on, Prince wandered up to the front of the stage and had this exchange with a person in front row: "You better stay on the stage. You're gonna get in trouble." "Tell me about it...." "Tina's gonna get you!" "So's Larry, he just don't know about it yet." Anyway, it's moments like these (details, man! details!) I like to read about when I can't make it (like tonight! sniffsniff) so I thought I'd share.... One new song that was played by DJ after the jam was INCREDIBLE! "Prince gonna get you high again!" Let's hope a new album is on the way SOON! | |
