Now it's in the cans : the new cd of top french clarinet/sax/bandoneon player Michel Portal has just been recorded in Minneapolis, with Vernon Reid (guitar), Tony Hymas (keyboards and piano) and Sonny T & Michael B (who have never played like this before : so loose and so funky at one time — amazing). This will B a great record, avalaible on Verve early 2001. Stay tuned for more informations about this one of a kind recording session — there's more 2 come... (Wish Prince could hear this cd...)
