Rosie Gaines album from 1985 discovered

I've not heard any discussion of this in the Prince community in the past, so I assume I may have made a unique discovery...

While vacationing in Barcelona, I came across a CD in a music shop. The CD is by 'Rosie Gaines' and is entitled 'Caring'. It was released in 1985. I contacted 'our' Rosie about the CD (to see if this was actually her), and she confirmed that it was released when she was very young. As you can see by the covers I posted, she's changed a lot!

I've posted the covers at:

Does anyone have this album? Has anyone heard of it? The sound is pretty typical 80s R&B, but Rosie's vocal style is definitely on the record...

Update: Renfield (renfield75@hotmail.com) writes:

I have an update for the recent story about Rosie Gaines'
1985 album. While digging through some old Billboard charts
a few years back I saw that the single "Skool-ology (Ain't
No Strain)" charted R&B, reaching number 70 I believe. Not
counting her time with the NPG, it was her only chart hit
until "I Want U" in 1995. I've never really heard much else
about her pre-Prince career.
