This is the version that was shown on the BBC. The begining is different form the version that was on A&E around 1992. Otherwise it is the same show. It is a grest documentry. You get to see the people behing Paisly Park talk about Prince. There is even a tour of the inside. Prince himself is not show except for a brief rehersal in L.A. from 1990. During the credits he performs a gret version of The Ladder. Trio will be showing it twice that day. On Directv it is channel 315. By the way Trio show don't end on time. They go 2 to 3 minutes over. Add about 5 minutes if you set up a recording.

I checked my DirectTV guide and the TRIO channel website and it's only playing once.

I think there's a few more live clips shown, also loads of interviews (sheila e, eric leeds, levi, mavis staples...) and video clips.

Fantastic documentary, well worth watching. biggrin

I believe it is the same as the Omibus version. I do know that the BBC shows less commercials the US TV does. There might be a few minutes missing in the Trio version.

I remember when this show aired in the U.S. some years back and I taped it. It is an excellent show; I love the way they show the inside of Paisley Park. I'm surprised Prince let anybody film it, since we all know what a private person he is.
RIP, mom. I will forever miss and love you.
