Server upgrade Hi, I know there were some minor problems with the site yesterday, including the "posting too quickly" message for some people. All issues should be resolved now... we had the server taken down for a little while for a memory upgrade, and the clock was off when it came back up. We never had quite enough memory for a linux box serving the amount of traffic we do, with decent performance! Now we're in better shape, and can handle similar loads without nearly as much difficulty.
Amazingly, due to the exitement last night, prince.org received over 950,000 hits yesterday! Thanks for making the site so popular, and we regret any site slowness you might have experienced. -Ben ben -- "the prince.org guy" |

Thought it was just my computer playing up. So excited trying to access NPG after 1.00 am (GMT) had no luck so kept coming back to Prince.org for info.
What would we do without you - wish the new NPG Music Club was as easy to understand as Prince.org!!! | |

I have an idea...contact Prince and show him how to make an easy to use site like this...the new club site looks nice but is the most user UNfriendly site I think I've ever been on...I paid $25 and only got to hear the song Reflection...nothing else works...plus I'm on a Mac, so even if it did work, the only video they have for me to view is Pop Life. | |
