Well, its 1.30 am in the UK and nothing yet. What a fantastic bit of news to come home to after a nite on the tiles. I guess I'll be up all nite now.

My NPG name and password stopped working sometime last week. maybe we'll get new ones if we join 2003.

of course ur old username aint working... its NPGMC 2003.. not 2002... i tried it myself, went 2 the sign up page but went no further...

I made it to a screen which said the membershipo was $25.00 which was good for all of 2003. The membership included 3 songs from the One Night Alone Las Vegas show which was coming out on DVD. I beleive it said those songs were available now. The other benefit was choice seating at concerts. It mentioned various "rooms" where commentary on various things (music, enlightment) would be discussed. When I went to renew my membership I received what looked to be an Oracle Database error. Now it's back to the "Join" screen. Guess there are some bugs to be worked out.

well i got in at 7:03 central - signed in using my old username and password (even though I NEVER got an email about this) and it took me to a spiel about joing back up for 25 dollars and getting 3 new songs from the new live dvd - i joined back up - it said it was successful - but now only the preview is up again.

Littleman...same here. I finally was able to register after about 8 tries with Oracle errors and finally after signing up I can't login.

As an older prince fan (37) who is in a customer service oriented business it continues to amaze me the lack of forethought put into Prince's business ventures. I'd hope the folks who work for me would have tested and retested the site before opening it to the public. I would expect they would look at all possible snafus and do everything in their power to get it right.

The fans who expect the most would be the ones signing up first and when the guys on the fence see the problems the hardcore fans have with the site, I would expect they might think twice before signing up.

Sad thing an unbelievably talented artist with very little customer service/business sense. Yo Prince, get some professionals running your bizness so you don't look like your doing things halfway.

I get oracle errors on everything in the retail section. The rest of the site seems to work just fine, it's just that there's nothing much there yet other than pretty pictures.

I'm sure Prince knows firsthand about it and is a little pissed off to say the least. I'm sure he's on the phone as we speak trying to get it all fixed with the soon-to-be-former-employee in charge of designing his website.

Ah man, someone else going by JugHead! Bummer dude.

The intro is pretty cool. I got in the gates but got errors soon after submitting my request to join. I hate when it does that 'cuz I'm not sure if my credit card was charged yet.

What's new for new music. I hate this crap about live stuff and concerts. I want some friggin' new music!
