Musicians cite influencial Prince videos on VH1

VH1's 10 of the Best, where artists/groups choose their 10 favourite
or most
inspirational videos, had Lenny Kravitz's premiere on yesterday. He chose
"I Wanna Be Your Lover" as one vid, saying Prince is a genius who has inspired and continues to
inspire
him. He also chose George Clinton's "Atomic Dog"; interesting to see
first-hand where
the inspiration for the b-sides "Scarlet Pussy" and "La La La He He He" came
from.

While I'm on the subject, a few others who've chosen Prince songs on the
show,
and the songs they chose:

Paul Mccartney - "Little Red Corvette"

James Taylor - "Cream"

The Corrs - "Alphabet St"

Joe Cocker - "Purple Rain"

The Proclaimers - "Dolphin"

The Bee Gees - "TMBGitW"

Del Amitri - "Somebody's Somebody"

UB40 - "Cream"

Lisa Stansfield - "Alphabet St"

Vonda Shepherd - "Purple Rain"

Chaka Khan - "TMBGitW"

Matt Goss (ex-Bros) - "Girls and Boys"

No doubt there's others; I haven't had VH1 that long eek)
