Lois Lane talks about Prince

In the Dutch magazine Free (augustus 2000) there is an interview with Monique and Suzanne Kleeman, the two ladies of Lois Lane, in wich they say the following about their work with Prince: "Prince tried to change our image. Don't get me wrong, he did it out of love. But he also wanted us to sing different and we just aren't black Americans. Artistically and commercially Prince turned out to be nothing more than a nice adventure. But we are far to stubborn to lose our own identity. But looking back we learned a lot about performing on stage from him. Nothing more and nothing less."
