Rod Stewart to include Prince song on new album produced by All Saints
producer K-Gee

Rod Stewart has contracted All Saints' producer and writer K-Gee for producing some of the tracks on his new album, scheduled for release in November. K-Gee, also known as a member of hip hop group The Outlaw Posse has worked with Gabrielle, George Michael and Glamma Kid. K-Gee has produced a version of the Prince song “Peach” and a song from K-Gee himself. Meanwhile, K-Gee will release his own debut solo album in October, recorded during breaks in the sessions for the second All Saints album. His first single will be titled “I Don't Really Care” and will be released on September 11.

Prince speaks out on file-exchange through the internet

According to Prince, the current Napster versus music companies battle Napster is about the government protecting record companies. And anybody who steals from the record companies is going to get shut down. Although some people think Prince is siding with the major record labels in their fight against illegal downloads, he has said that he is not pro or contra Napster, but that his interest in the issue is that musicians should have the right to control their art, not the record companies.
