A French fan wrote to the magazine about this article (which was obviously a fake article) and here is the reply from the magazine (my translation) :

Jazz magazine is a serious magazine (for over 50 years) but, sometimes, you shouldn't take it seriously ! (Jokes for April Fool's day are very popular in the tabloids..)

Of course the text has NOT been published in Jazz Magazine but only on the website "JazzMag", which is not the same thing... There is enough space for it on the website and I thought that, after having written several serious articles, it would be a good idea to send a little joke to entertain people.

But, apparently, some fans seem to be too fan... according to me.
