Q Mag- Q review Buyers guide to Prince.(May) Prince is once again featured in this latest edition of Q mag with a two page spread in the buyers guide section. The albums reviewed are pre-the name change.
As expected, Purple Rain and Sign 'o' the times were rated in the "Indispensable.Truely Exceptional" section. Under "Excellent.Must Buy" Diamonds and pearls,Around the World in a Day and Parade ("an odd but underrated album") appear. The hits also get a mention- "Prince couldn't fit his best songs onto one anthology so he released the hits 1 and 2. Choosing between them is a tough call...Buy both and get the brilliant B-Sides as well." Again, Q have come up trumps and produce another well written article which is definitely worth a read. | |
