I took my daughters to see Britney Spears in concert at the Nissan Pavillion in Virginia on 4 July 2000 and there were a couple of interesting things the show borrowed from Prince. The show began with the almost identical introduction from "The Gold Experience" album with the sound effects and all, i.e. "Welcome, you have just accessed the Britney experience . . . ." In addition, while the band was being introduced the guitarist played Jesse's "sexy solo" from "Jungle Love". And I might add that she looks good now that she is of age. 18 and over, I wants to bone ya.
