Tevin Campbell at the age of 14 first worked with prince singing and acting in the film Graffiti Bridge. He had a quite a few lines in the film, he played the son of Mavis Staples and in one scene he admires Prince's motorcycle. And in another scene Prince admires Tevin as he sings the song "Round and Round" to a crowd gathered in the street. After Tevin's work in the film Graffiti Bridge he later recorded 4 song's that prince gave to him for his solo album "I'm Ready" [including "Shhh" which later re-covered on The Gold Experience - KLS]. The now 22 year old Tevin hopes to work with Prince again.



"I want to have another album out next year. Singing is my first love, and I have alot of things planned for my future. I would really enjoy doing some work and touring with [the artist formerly known as] Prince again. And recording or touring with Lauryn Hill or Jewel."
