"HEY, SO I WENT TO SEE THE OTHER BRUCE SHOW IN NYC this
week. Hornsby, that is! Talented guy, no? I think he could
be a lot better than he is actually, if you know what I mean!!!!
It was actually a double bill with Maceo Parker!!! I had NO
idea how FUNKY that bad man is!!!! Pretty cool!!! Special
guest?!?!?! Oh, yeah!!!! It was PRINCE!!!!! But that was
kind of a bust (this was at the Beacon Theatre in Manhattan,
BTW.) Prince teased the audience, almost coming out a bunch
of times. (He brought out Maceo's sax.) But in the end he
only played one extended organ solo. Formerly known as! You
bite!!!!! Clouds of some most excellent weed smoke in the
Beacon. WHEW!!!!!...."
