A report from the Pioneer Press on the launch of a new airline service -- Sun Country Airlines -- mentions that it has adopted "formerly known as" in its advertising and makes use of a well known Prince impersonator who is also an employee of the company.



"Later, an impersonator of The Artist Formerly Known As Prince entertained passengers waiting in the terminal. One of Sun Country's new billboards plays on the ``formerly known as'' theme because 16-year-old Sun Country had been known as a charter carrier for before its switch to scheduled service. The impersonator, John Paul Larson, is also a Sun Country flight attendant."



John Paul Larson is a well known fan in Minneapolis, who used to work for security at Glam Slam in the days when Prince owned it. He has been promoting himself as an impersonator for years and even has his own publicity kit.
