I bought the new cd by Q-Tip this past weekend, and he mentions PRINCE in his single "Let's Ride". He says "...listen 2 the cd's I play inside: Mos Def, Jay, PRINCE, and Stevie. Marvin Gaye, Led Zepplin, and Biggie..."
I thought it was interesting how Prince is also a big influence in the rap community.
