Sheila E. Featured Artist at Toca Perscussion Website, New Signature Percussion Line for Kids! At the 2003 NAMM Trade show Toca Percussion had a new Sheila E. Players Series signature line of latin percussion instruments geared towards kids!
At NAMM there was a small set up with a poster of the photo below and a few timbales, bongo's, congo's etc., with the signature "Sheila" imprinted on them. I found the Toca site had a whole featured section on Sheila E. with a bio/profile and performance setup plus links to her signature series percussion products. At NAMM she was at the Hilton and she looked really cool. She wore a black suit and white blouse and looked sharp and she had these cool sunglasses, you know the slightly tinted ones and she was in a great mood with her buddies and fellow drummers.
She was joking ala "sick" style too, you know the way Prince and Morris joke, fun to see. | |

- It is relative. She is in better shape that TONS of 18 year-old girls. And the pic seems natural, not forced or vulgar. Why would she dress up like an old woman if she is healthy and beautiful? |

I love the interaction between Sheila and Prince; they really do seem to love each other's company, like a funky brother and sister. She seemed SUCH a nice person at last year's Celebration - really genuine, humble and genuinely flattered that everyone wanted to see her. And she does loads for charity. Sheila - you're a Class Act. | |
