Soul Legends on BBC radio - review

Report on the 'Soul Legends' documentary on BBC Radio 2.

This documentary, presented by Daryl Hall, was little more
than a basic introduction to Prince's music. He gave a
brief overview of his career, interspersed with music. He
really didn't go into much depth at all, and only played
the most obvious tracks, with nothing at all played from
Chaso & Disorder, Emancipation or Rave. There was really
nothing of special interest for fans, but for non-fans it
was probably an interesting overview of the man's career.
And it was nice to hear a whole hour of Prince music on
the UK's most listened-to radio station.

Tracks played (in order) were:
[pre:0deadbeef0]
Soft & Wet
I Wanna Be Your Lover
Contoversy
Little Red Corvette
1999
Purple Rain
When Doves Cry
Raspberry Beret
Nothing Compares 2 U (version from 'The Hits')
Kiss
Sign O The Times
Alphabet Street
Batdance
Diamonds & Pearls
The Most Beautiful Girl In The World
My Name Is Prince
