Prince To Appear On Future Album By Patti LaBelle  Patti LaBelle, who sang a standout performance of Angel Of Harlem at the Bono tribute Friday, has an A-list of collaborators lined up for her new album.
"I started with Wyclef (Jean) and Denise Rich, and I'm working with Rodney Jerkins and Lenny Kravitz, and Prince -- we've talked about some things. How happy was I 2 read this news? 2 of my most FAV artists working 2gether again. this should b good. I think they should do an entire album 2gether, and then a tour. COULD U IMAGINE THE ENERGY? wow!!!

Remember... he later changed the lyrics in "The Cross", also RAVE unto the Joy before the choir sang "The Christ", Prince said "this is not a gospel". I enjoy Patti just as much if not more than most, and she and Prince would make a good duo, but don't hold your breath on gospel music with Prince involved.  just my  the rest is free. I seem to remember an item in 'Paisley Newz' last year about how Prince has had many artists including Patti LaBelle sing on "God Is Alive". I guess that could be described as gospel. | |
