Prince at Clive Davis' Grammy party

According to Fox News: http://www.foxnews.com/pr...55,00.html
Here's the relevant part of the article:

Prince slinked in late with several bodyguards, took a seat and said nothing to anyone all night. When Davis introduced him from the stage, the musical genius got a standing ovation. This prompted Sharon Osbourne, who couldn't see him due to his vertical challenge, to shout out, "Where is he? Where is that little Prince?" in her best cockney accent. I don't know if she ever got to meet him, but she tried.

Why would Prince go to a party with other musicians and not say a word to anyone?

I thought that was weird too. What probably truly happened is that he did talk to other people, but they just incorrectly reported it to make him sound like a recluse.

Is Prince small?
When I read about the evils of drinking, I gave up reading.

Remember, this is Foxnews reporting this story.
I'm not saying that Prince is the most sociable guy in the world, but some media seems to still be stuck on the Prince of the '80's.

And isn't Roger Friedman the guy who said Prince blamed Mayte for the death of their child cause she wore nail polish?
If it's the same guy, he's just another full of crap gossip columnist.

the 3am gossip girls in the daily mirror UK ran yet another prince story badmouthing him at what he does at parties. according to them he went to the party with 50 (yes 50!) friends and wouldnt let any of them have the free champagne and ordered bottled water for them all instead.

typical story for the 3am girls really.

and they said he ruined there night. how would they know if he ruined there night?? is youre friends with prince then maybe you expect that sort of stuff anyway!

sounds like he wouldn't talk to someone and that someone got a lil miffed about that..and turned it into the story we see now.

I believe the story. It's not the first time he's done that.

A standing ovation is all that needs to be said really. What words can top that...Who are the fools here. If Prince was so rude why stand for him...These people are just fools a probably did'nt deserve to be spoken to anyway.

Hmmm. That's what it sounds like to me. Otherwise, why would he hang out with Clive and and his "J Records" artists during the After-Grammy Party. Stay Tuned!
