Information on Chanhassen, transportation for summer celebration attendees Hey everyone!
There's been a lot of talk about Chanhassen and I've been trying to find pictures of the city, but nothing doing. However, Chanhassen does have a website and you'll learn more about this town they you could possibly want... everything from parks to schools to the history to the water quality. So check it out if you want. Hopefully someone can find some decent pictures for you all. http://www.ci.chanhassen.mn.us/ I know that some people are concerned about transportation while they're staying in MN. If you're flying in to the airport and take a taxi to Chanhassen to stay at your hotel, you won't have any problem walking around Chan. But it's a long week and if you want to see the sites, lakes, the Mall of America, First Ave, or whatever, there is public transportation. SouthWest Transit is the suburbs bussing system. It will get you to lots of places and can hook you up with downtown's public busses. For more info on routes, fares, and times check out their website. The routes are very clear and will take you to Minneapolis. There are ways to get where you want to go without renting a car or taking a taxi everywhere. (Taxis can be spendy!) http://swtransit.org/ I hope everyone is pumped for this week and I hope all plans work out well!! Peace, Jill | |
