There was a slightly obscure Prince reference on Saturday Night Live this weekend. There was a skit set in a 'Rock'n'Roll' themed restaurant, and the manager was John Goodman in a surgeon's outfit. When asked who he was, he said "I'm that surgeon guy that played keyboards for Prince & the Revolution." (And yes, he actually said 'the Revolution'). After being told that was a 'lame' character to pick, John Goodman said "Character? Uh, no, I'm really that guy..."
