MTV News mentions recent interview (with photo) At MTV's news site there is a copy of 's cover on Paper magazine and an article about the interview:
Prince Tells Paper He May Move Back To Major Label The artist still referred to in many circles as Prince granted a rare interview recently to Paper magazine, which will feature him on the cover of its upcoming 15th anniversary issue. In the piece, Prince addresses his need to change his name to an unpronounceable symbol, why he recently re-recorded some of his old material, and why reaching out to the Internet also meant suing nine other Web sites. He also reveals that he is currently at work on a new album titled Rave Un2 the Joy Fantastic that may see him once again hook up with a major label. "I had to get out of the recording industry, and once I did, that changed my perspective on everything," the artist tells Paper of his decision to test the big label waters again. Of course, there's also plenty of talk about "1999," and the apocalyptic vibe he was feeling more than 15 years ago when he wrote the now ubiquitous track. The June issue of Paper, which also features a piece on Moby, hits newsstands on June 7. http://www.mtv.com/news/h...tory3.html Submitted by BergerP BergerP@kapsch.net - May 25, 09:48pm I found their web site with many infos on where to get this mag: http://www.papermag.com/m...azine.html submitted: Bart_Van_Hemelen tenthousand@geocities.com - May 27, 08:40am Keep your eyes on this page... http://www.papermag.com/m...thismonth/ | |
