Regardless, you'd think the Paisley News would have some detail about a NEW DVD RELEASE. I mean, who do they think is going to be the buying this release? The general public?

For the first time, I'm regretting not getting the NPGMC membership. Tried to get tix in NY and couldn't. My god, that download was a beautiful thing...THIS is why we put up with his bad business crap.

Not again... I can't stand suspense like this. Why doesn't the club act like a club and tell us what is going on.
Calm, calm, it is MSN, it could be nothing more than a typo. High..NPGMC will e-mail members as soon as it has the information.

I agree LOvesexy4U ther does seem to be an increase in awareness all of a sudden.

He has been pretty low key in the UK unfortuneatly since the ONA tour.

Im tell you people that that clip doesnt do the show justice. I was there 5th row center and enjoying every second of the show. After seeing this clip all the memories of the ONA finale came rushing back. Brrr its a sending chills down my spine. Prince had at least 3 people walking around filiming the show with hi end digital video eqip. However if Prince and the NPGMC hold true to form than it will be months before we ever see this product; if at all. Remember some of the other "coming soon" material mentioned from NPGMC: The 7 disk sampling set, Roadhouse Gardens, and Crystal Ball 2??? Don`t hold your breath kids.

This makes sense about Waners putting out The Sign O the Times DVD. They compete with him and use him for free pr.
They did it with Emancipation and rave by releasing the Vault and Chaos...

Well this should B pretty amazing...that DVD sound and pic quality sweet... I'm only wondering if this will B from one show or like the cd's, a collection from around the US and then some?

He needs 2 really start opening up his live concert history past and present. A show from each tour would B a beautiful thing, if not more... 2 convert them over 2 DVD quality and start offering them online 4 a fair price or even in the stores would B a great $$$ maker 4 him. And 4 the people who have always wanted a collection like this a dream.

It translate's 2 happier fans/fams/supporters etc.. no dout. He would help re-cop some of his losses from people who have been offering his concert video boots since the 80's.

oh dear, typical NPGMC. looks like they signed a "CONtract" with MSN (who've got to be one of the most unsympathetic companies towards "ARTists"), to get them to advertise this DVD.

DVD looks great, but would've felt more of a "fam" if they could've emailed us first.

I'm sure we'll get the whole "B a FAM and do away with nasty business CONtracts" when NPGMC want us to buy the thing from them first...

I mailed the npgmc and asked if there were any plans 4 a ONA Live...DVD (can't find the emale to prove it so u just have 2 take my word for it) . Well anyways they responded that there were no plans for a DVD. But this m$n clip shows quite the contrary. I maybe a bit naive but y not tell the TRUTH when a member asks of such a thing. Its not like I asked if Manuella is pregnant. But this was in december and maybe plans 4 a dvd did not xist, higly unlikely though.

It´s amazing...it´s about time that he releases a live video...the ONA box was great, but a whole full concert with professional footage would be great...

We were to "act like thousands of people" -- so they could shoot what was presumably just close-ups, coverage, b-roll footage, etc. -- because they needed enthusiastic folks for the upcoming DVD release. It was rather ridiculous, but it is evidence that at least at one time, there were plans for a live DVD from the ONA tour.

I'm sure as anything yesterday the description besides the clip had "live" and "DVD", just checked this morning and it nows states "See an exclusive live performance of "The Work Pt.1"", no mention of DVD !!! What's going on?

yes they changed it !
two reasons i think for that :

1- MSN did a mistake and they weren't allowed to speak about a DVD release when MPGMC wanted to make a surprise event for us, club members.

2- there is no DVD

i agree, too soon to judge and get disappointed. could be one of the reasons that the npgmc isn't up yet, too many complainers. also, doesn't matter if he releases it or not, because someone in the club would come here and bitch about it not including a specific song, or not being long enough, or whatever we find to bitch about. i didn't see anywhere last night or yesterday in the clip where it said from the forthcoming live dvd, so have some patience, if he releases it great, but if he doesn't oh well.

and as for the hold up on the club, we have only ourselves to blame for complaining and sending complaints to the club. tho there were downsides, hell, p didn't even come to stlouis during the ona tour, it is still a great club that we have shown no appreciation for and that is why it isn't up yet. so let's not jump the gun and cause him to scrap the dvd if there is plans to release it.. just chill..
