I just got back from hearing a talk at UCLA by James L.
Brooks, director of "Terms of Endearment", "Broadcast
News", "As Good As It Gets" and "I'll Do Anything" which,
in its original incarnation, was a musical with songs
written by Prince. Brooks spoke about his desire to
release the musical version on video, but he can't do it
without Prince's permission to use the music -- and Brooks
can't get the man on the phone.

So if anyone out there can get a message to The Artist, ask
him to call James L. Brooks in Hollywood.
