It was BULLSHIT. The Love4oneanother room was all redesigned, and it looked cool, but they fucked us over. The bodyguards told everyone it was gonna be a performance, and made us pay a $7 "donation." when we got inside, we all sat there (TONS of people FYI) watching this huge TV screen play some crazy computer graphics over spliced video imagery. The music was a lot of , and a lot of Tribe for some reason. Every now and then they would cut out and show some real concert footage. They showed clips of European promo tour for Rave, as well as his jam at Paisley back in October (the one where Mavis and George showed up). That was cool, but the natives were restless.
The stage was all set up. Entirely set up! Yours truly had an excellent spot right in front, but it was all in vain. SCREWED us over. I spoke to a source at Paisley (someone close to let me say...) and he said that the performance was cancelled because DIDN'T SHOW UP UNTIL NEARLY 3:30, AT WHICH TIME MIKE AND MORRIS HAD TAKEN OFF! He didn't show up?!? What the hell? And he had the nerve to charge us all $7 and promise a performance? It's harder by the day to be a fan. Just looking around last night, he pissed a LOT of people off. They were told of a performance, and paid for just that. What a rip-off. Well, I guess we paid for his new TV screen. If thinks he can make up for this by throwing another $7 "performance" next weekend, forget about it. Last night was bullshit.
