I've been watching for white smoke at Paisley Park. This week I am again hearing rumblings that Manuela Testolini is looking as though she has put on weight. A musician claims that the consensus among another set of performers is that Prince's wife looks heavier. The musician swore to me that she looks "thicker" and told me to listen for clues on Prince's next release. Since Prince spends so much time in Canada, where Manuela is from, and in Europe, I'm not sure anybody in Minnesota actually remembers what he looks like. For one thing, a couple of people dispute recent Prince sightings at Ping's on the grounds that an employee of the Asian restaurant looks like Symbolina. Then there's the question of whether I really trust some guys to gauge a subtle weight gain. "What, she had PMS and someone thinks she's pregnant?" said a laughing Melinda Jacobs, who sits next to Prince and the Mrs. when they show for Timberwolves games. "She's tiny. Give her a break. I don't know for sure. Maybe she is." Jacobs says he's great with kids. "My kids [Cole, 12 and Maddy, 10] forget that he's Prince, an international superstar. Cole is more interested in Look out, Prince, I'm sorry you paid $200 a seat, but I need to catch that hat they are dropping from that stupid air balloon thing." If Manuela's pregnant, we'll all know soon, unless Prince keeps her under wraps.

No doubt Prince would be good with kids. He can look them right in the eye.

CJ must be some chick that Prince wouldn't give the time of day to and she has made it her life's mission to diss him at every turn. I hope that his wife is pregnant so she can shut up already.It is not as if that information is really any of this woman's bizness anyway.And how long will she continue to call him that name? GOD needs to whisper in her ear to take a pill.This man deserves some respect for his family life.Mani can gain some even if she wants to.So what!!!I wonder what CJ looks like and if anyone has a picture of her then please post it cause I want to see if she is attractive or not.I really want to see this visage and if it will stand up to any of our criticism.

I hope she is pregnant and that they have a beautiful, healthy baby. I've always hoped he would try to have kids again after the tragic turn the last time with Mayte. Maybe when he has a healthy baby, he can put that sad time even more firmly behind him.

If he did have kids, I can almost guarantee that we'd be hearing a bunch of "fatherhood" songs which would be interesting. Prince seems like a very obsessive person who gets totally wrapped up in what he does, so it would probably come out in his music. "Let's Have A Baby" from Emancipation was a sweet song and maybe it won't be sad to listen to it once he has a new baby. Anyway, I think this is potentially good news for anyone who is a fan and just wants Prince to be as happy as he can be.

Here! Here! and Might i add Hear! I hope the situatation is whatever Prince and Mani want it to be. Just like TonyC, I just want them to be Happy!

I know Prince can often do freakish things, but i think it would be safe to say that only Mani will be getting pregnant between the two of them. LOL!

However, being a huge aussie fan, i would like to say i hope it is true. Prince and his lovely wife deserve happiness. I also hope that, as it seems artists around the world today r using samples, and designing their music to sound like the Prince greatness of the 80s, i would like it if Prince bought out a slammin' album of electro-funk/pop hits, and make Prince the worlds most popular pop legend that he deserves to be.

I hope if they are going to have a baby that they announce it and show a picture, instead of trying to make us play guessing games.

In Antwerp ONA 181002 he sang "we'll call him great and that's for sure" during sign o times. So I guess she's pregnant. Also I agree with Orchid. Xpectation could also refer to xpecting a child...

No, NO! If they have a child, im happy for them, but can the tabloids and speculation cease! Im just interested in the music, I don't want another repeat of '96 - '99 years where the media didn't give a shit about the music,the focus was about babies and marriages.

If the first time round wasn't handled like a circus, he'd probably be more willing to show off his current wife (like the way he did with Mayte) and be open about children.

It doesn't really matter. He never went public with his marriage to Mani, except to some folks at a soundcheck, so what makes anyone think he'll admit to her having a baby. I think Prince learned to keep his personal life tightly under wraps after the whole media circus surrounding the death of his baby with Mayte.
