Yes, the following was an April Fools Day joke. But I'm still not happy about "Everyday is a Winding Road" being removed from the Rave Special Edition.

I regret to inform you that after Sunday (tomorrow), prince.org will no longer provide a news service, as I am resigning from my position as news editor. In order to quash any rumors before they start, I will explain the reasons why I am leaving:



1) I have accepted a paid position as news editor for a Michael Jackson fansite that will make its debut within the next few weeks. In addition to the paycheck, I'm very excited to be coordinating news coverage for such a talented musician. With all due respect, the best that can be said for is that he is an "artist," whereas Michael is truly the King of Pop.



2) I am also resigning in protest of "Everyday is a Winding Road" being removed from the Special Edition of Rave Un2 the Joy Fantastic.
