There is small picture of The Artist in
the April 2000 edition of W fashion magazine. It
looks like its from the Yahoo Awards aftershow/party
(July 1999).It's in the section on Rock and Fashion. Sorry don't know the exact page.

In April 2000 issue of W fashion magazine, there is
a small picture of Artist. The article is about beauty
and rock stars. The Artist's portion article states,



"Then there is the diminutive Artist Formerly As Prince.
Although he's placed his hair in the very capable hands
of another single-monikered Oribe stylist, Satrou, the
Fifth Avenue salon evidently doesn't earn the same trust.
In preparation for his arrival last fall, the Oribe staff
was ordered to block out every window to deter onlookers
and ensure the singer's privacy. The staff complied, but
upon entering the salon, the Artist deemed it not to his
liking and stormed out. Since then, Satrou, who is said to
be on call 24 hours a day, has trimmed The Artist over in
Bumble and Bumble's private VIP room, a few block away."
