Yesterday (March .20) Ani Difranco appeared on Vh1's Daily1 Show, and Talked
about her latest release "To the Teeth" which features "The Artist" on
production and backing vocals for the soulful/gospel/funk-filled track
"Providence",Ani was asked about her working w/ The former Prince and she
replied "I was thrilled when I met him, he came to a show in Minneapolis, and
told me he was a big admirer of my work,and what I stood for, then he said
Can I be on your album,which is his backward hand way of saying I want you on
my Album,and I replyed Wow ;Ok,How could I turn an Artist like him down, so
we worked on a song for his record and he returned the favor" Ani also
mentioned that they would probably do some other projects very soon as they
