Sun tabloid on Prince's marriage i don't know y, but there was an article in the bizzare "music news" page of UK tabloid "newspaper" the Sun 2day about how mayte has split from her husband and that Mel B, who is also having marriage problems (acknowledged by the Spice Girls' press officer) is in Minneapolis recording her solo album. it mentions that he annuled his marraige 2 mayte. it does not mention where they get there in4mation from. the Sun usually print any old rumours they like, and all sortsa crap. mmmm. a bit like a website that brings 2 mind...
Update: Simon Quinn (simon.quinn@net.ntl.com) reports: Something else mentioned in the Sun article, (headline: Parting Like it's 1999), was: "Wife Mayte is being comforted by Spanish dancer Joaquim Cortes, former love of model Naomi Campbell. Mayte has been in Spain with new pal Joaquim after falling out with the purple one.The break up comes days after Mel B's marriage to dancer Jimmy Gulzar hit trouble. Mel is currently in AFKAP's home town Minneapolis to start her solo album and is expected to meet up with The Artist after hitting it off last year when the Spice Girl interviewed him for a Channel 4 documentary. Sources on the show were amazed by how well the couple bonded and said thhey were flirting throughout. A source close to Prince said "It is a difficult time for both of them and there have been problems. They just need a breather from each other. She and Joaquim are pretty friendly and he has been a shoulder to cry on." Incidentally for all those dissing the Sun, back in 97 its sister paper News of the World also did a 3 page piece on the death of their baby, after interviewing the two nannies, Irlene and Arlene Mojica if memory serves, and I typed up the article and posted it to the PPML, where plenty of people were quick to rubbish the report. They might like to note 0(+> never sued the paper (and he's so free with his lawsuits nowadays as well) or the twins for slander, though he sued the twins for breach of contract I beleive, hence the report may well have had a lot more truth than people would like to admit. Also if the Sun is such a joke newspaper its curious that 0(+> should do an interview with them in 1995 during his slave period; that interview can be found on my website at: http://websites.ntl.com/~...n/home.htm | |
