Michael Jackson copies Prince AGAIN

Yet another example of how Michael Jackson is obsessed with Prince Rogers Nelson. Michael Jackson names his children Prince, fights with his record label, and now names songs similar to Prince's music.

As scooped by MSNBC, Michael Jackson is composing a song about his fight with "devilish" Mottola called "Xscape". Just recently, Prince releases several songs with X in their title. Samples include, "Xhalation", "Xcogitate" and "Xemplify".

Poor Michael.

To be honest with you,I really don't think Michael is even familiar with those Prince songs. And many other artists have done songs with an "X" in the title.

I have a very lovely life thank you very much. nod

All I am trying to get across to all of the people suffering from 'Michaelus Jacksonitus' is that he clearly hasn't been doing the business for quite some time now! disbelief

I freely admit that he is and always will be a music legend and I have enjoyed numerous Jackson songs in the past, however, at the moment he looks and acts like a freak show!! eyepop

In the words of Thomas Jefferson ... "If there is a just God, Michael will pay for this!" lol

I'm not an MJ fan, but the guy deserves a break. He's just a person out there trying to live his life, have a career etc. There's nothing wrong with that in my book. If he follows Prince so what? Take it as a compliment to Prince.
Life it ain't real funky unless you got that orgPop.

& that is important why???
is ur existance so miserable u have 2 concerntrate on the every move of someone else & take pleasure in paying them out?
like sabaisabai said,he is just trying 2 live his life, but ppl like YOU & the media feel the need & take pleasure in making that miserable 4 the guy.
i seldom pay out on artists, cos they have enuf bullshit 2 handle just with their career & trying 2 have a private life....let alone having us & the media making it more difficult 2 try & lead as normal lives as they possibly can.

cos Joshy sed so!

No offense, but don't you have more important things to worry about instead of what MJ decides to name one of his songs? If I didn't like an artist,I wouldn't waste my time concentrating on their every move.

Look 'Joshyboy' this is a DISCUSSION forum people are entitled to their opinion ... ... anyway I merely made my feelings known after a previous post claimed to know that my head was up Prince's arse... booty!

I only felt it right and proper to divert the focus of the forum away from dissing Prince fams! yes

Anyway 'Joshyboy' I think for u, bedways is rightways now, make love not war man, smoke a spliff and take a chill pill! blunt

If Jacko did that maybe he'd be in a better place mentally right now! nod

P.S. Some would beg to differ on the issue that Michael Jackson is in fact a HUMAN just going about his business trying to have a decent career evillol

hmm OK OK, fair play, I suppose yes he is human and yes he had a hard time as a youngster... ... ... I will renege all of my past comments. duh

I have no real interest in the artists and their problems, I am only interested in how they express themselves musically music and to be perfectly honest (not shit stir as this is merely my opinion) MJ has not, in the past 5 years, turned out anything half decent, IN MY OPINION.

Now I know I have been outspoken but when u look at it musically he is in a very bad place right now and continually plumeting from the heights he once scaled! disbelief

I have nothing against Mr. Jackson I only feel dissapointed in the fact that the quality of his music is so censored right now.

'Joshyboy' if u're still here, I hope Prince does come to Australia so that u can see what a real musician plays like, from then on your 'Liberian Girl' record will only be fit to use as a coaster!

P.S. I never claimed to be perfect, just non-plastic evillol

The past 5 years? Try the past decade, if not longer.

I actually feel kind of sad for MJ because he does seem to be a major target now by the media. Everything he does and says is scrutinized, and criticized excessively. And it's ALL negative. Nobody has anything good to say about Michael Jackson nowadays.

As far as the song title, I would say it would have to be a coincidence, because I highly doubt that MJ is following Prince's every move or is even hip to what Prince is doing right now, much less looking to copy him, musically or otherwise.

Michael's song Xscape was recorded LONG before the Xpectation album.

This reminds me of the saying, "opinions and ass holes; everybody has one."

The history is clear of Michael Jackson being influenced by Prince, to the point of copying him.

A rep of Michael Jackson's is a member of the NPG Music Club for he's the one who forwarded me the news item.

I've always thought that P had his head stuffed up his own ass far more than MJ. P can be one arrogant MF. And i reckon part of this was due to not ever being as succesful as MJ and thinking he should've been due to his obviously better musical skills. MJ, however, has always had more commercial songs and much better videos. Prince was jealous of MJ's popularity and no-one will ever convince me otherwise.

4YI, MJ recorded this song 4 invincible, and composed it in the 90ies. He recently re-recorded it with some new lyrics. It was always called Xscape.

Somehow,I doubt Prince was the first one in history to use this sort of naming for a song.

Whatever...Let MJ be. If it is a copy, it's from one legend to another legend showing the highest form of flattery.

There are worse things happening right now in music...like Eminem being called a "Genius".
