In the News of the World (UK Sunday Newspaper)it is reported that the Glastonbury festival is on and that Prince will play on the Sunday and we be playing a "Secret" Gig at the Astoria the night before (Some Secret..!)

Also had an email from NPGMC regarding Prince's appearance which basically denied all knowledge.

Prince or no Prince, Glastonbury is still a fantastic weekend. I travel around a lot as a music journalist and I have never seen any festival that even approaches Glastonbury. You've got about 50 stages (including one massive one, which is where our chum is rumoured to be playing) and a huge market and all these weird circus fields, comedy tents, funfair, green fields, stone circles, cinemas and the camp sites are doted all around the festival site, so you wake up in the thick of it.

All of the UK media give it loads of coverage, not to mention European media. If he headlined it, it would be massive exposure for him at a time when he's not getting enough and is probably at his live peak. If he did it, it would be big and my friends might start to believe me when I tell them he's back and better than ever!

Weirdly enough, I reviewed his Manchester gig and ended with a comment similar to the last paragraph, and it got linked to the npgmc site. This could be what started the rumour, but it would be brilliant if it was true.
