This months spotlight...



Taja Sevelle (one of the most underrated performers to
emerge from Paisley Park) is about to make a comeback. The
Dawn Experience recently got in touch with Taja and this is
what she told us..
"I have started my own record label, Matrix Music and am
releasing my first single very soon. I am having a single
release party and fundraiser for a charity called Save Our
Sons and Daughters (SOSAD) on the 19th of March, in
Detroit, Michigan. VH1 will be there filming it as they
are doing an in-depth interview on me. They are doing a
special on the women who have been signed to Prince's label
(Sheila E, Vanity, myself, etc...) and they will be at my
party. I am also putting together a compilation CD with
various artists that will come together to promote peace...
preventing youth violence, which is so prevalent here in
the United States. My label is doing this project with
SOSAD and I am very excited about it. I am focused on
getting artists such as Lauren Hill, Lenny Kravitz, Seal,
etc...(a wide variety) to get involved with it. I will
keep you posted.
In addition, I am about to unveil an invention I have,
(a kitchen appliance) as well as a novel I have written
called "Rain On A River".
My full length CD, FIRE will be released in about 2 1/2
months. I also have a 5-song CD available for sale.
It features songs from my upcoming CD. "
