I went to Best Buy today to pick up my copy on ONA, and was told that it was not going to be released until 12/31, and that they had not yet received it.

The Best Buy website still shows a release date of 12/17, however CDNow's website says: "this will be delivered after 12/24".

Anybody know when it will really hit retail?

[Other visitors also said there's still no release date in the UK... hmmm, maybe not enough supply? That would be a good thing, if it's outselling expectations, although seems unlikely at the moment. -Ben]

I am a member of the club and although i already recieved mine on 12/9/02, I went to purchase it from Sounds Familiar,
in Columbia , S.C. today 12/17/02 as a gift for a friend , and bought it for only $41.00.

I think this company that they have sending out the box sets (from what I hear) is fucking up royally. Either that or they put the sets together too late, but somebody dropped the ball. My mom ordered it for me today for xmas, cduniverse.com has it in stock apparently. *I'm actually pissed at Prince for leaving 'Whole Lotta Love' off of it, he plays Zeppelin and Hendrix in concert and blows people away! He'll put Joan Osbourne and Bonnie Raitt songs on his disc but not give the people the classics, what they really want, yeah keep complainin' about the record company Prince! 40 dollars for 3 cds, he'll never give us a break. I have a feeling it might be brilliant though, I'm curious to see how they pieced together the different live performances to run in succession like a continuous cd. I saw Prince several times in his heyday, however I think he is way past his peak.

Tuesday I went to Circuit City, Wal mart and called best buy. Nobody had it! what a **itty day that was. Everyone kept telling me that its been pushed back until 12/31, does anyone know when Chicago will get it?

Great Box Set!!

I checked the inventory system at work (Best Buy/Novi, MI) and it says that all the Best Buy's in the area have 2 or 3 copies in stock. Yet I can't find it! You can imagine how nutz I am. Our inventory says that it's in the store, I've searched under rocks and can't find it. I asked the merchandising manager, and I had more info about it than he has. I told the Media department manager, to hold on to a copy if he saw it.
