777 UPDATE

"The News, not the bullsh.."



hello everyone n welcome 2 another edition of 777. As of late, there have
been more rumors then truths going on about the man since troy beyer was
supposedly pregnant with Prince's baby (1992),,,,,as that rumor was false so
were several others.....I had a very good laugh at them n let them
go.....All it takes is just one person 2 say they heard from "a very
reliable source" that so n so.....n 2 those people i offer u a large tall
glass of SHUT-UP juice!! n now with that being said, this is going 2 be the
longest update so far that we have ever reported...so bare with us...



Item no.1-Prince/o(+> will be at the soul train music awards this
saturday....he is recieving the artist of the decade award-male.....there
will be a video montage of clips of the man.....I do not want 2 ruin the
suprise of what will or will not be happening.....some people said he is not
appearing and 2 shut those rumors up, Prince is in l.a. right now, I have
seen him twice since tuesday.....both times alone without band members,
girlfriends or "big brother"(larry g.) Also we are not sure about this next
factoid but it has been reported that he also recently or will recently
record a "soul Train" episode to be aired later in march.....you will have to
check local listings for both.....soul train awards are saturday night and
soul train airs saturday mornings.....the soul train awards will air on wgn
and if your cable company carries it, then that will be the station u tune 2
saturday night....play it safe though.....



item#2-as was reported 1st in our last update, vh-1 will be televising the
"rave un2 the year 2000" concert special saturday night immediately following
the soul train awards....no word if the special footage has been added or if
some has been deleted.....so remember as soon as the soul train awards
ends, flip 2 vh-1 and have those vcr's set.....all i can say is damn.....why
saturday night? sigh. the concert is supposed 2 air several times in march
on vh-1



item#3-as was reported 1st in our last update....."man o' war was a choice 4
the next single and was picked, and there is supposed 2 be a video to
accompany the single...no word if the single will be released
commercialy.....the video reportedly has yet 2 be shot....(but what the heck
was he doing all this time in MPLS?).....we can just pray that the video will
hit shortly, not like "the greatest romance....."



item#4-4 someone who has literally disappeared of the radar(on purpose mind
u) he sure has been talked about a lot.....from david spade on leno.....to
craig cilborn mentioning his name at least once a week on his show and a new
bloodhound gang song entitled "the bad touch" which features this lil
attribute "sex baby sex baby just like a texas drought, u can do things that
only Prince can sing about" 2 several morning newsstations playing his music
b4 n after commercial breaks.....the wrestler formerly known as Prince? oh
lawd.....and lil tidbits here n there in magazines all over the
world.....craig is from minnesota n loves the man n may be trying 2 lure him
in as a guest.....as 4 the rest.....there have been no disses only
praise..so is the media all bad?.....



item#5-will there be an l.a. club show this weekend? he has been seen all
over the sunset strip but not by any clubs....the last time he was in l.a. 4
a t.v. appearance, "the tonight show with Jay Leno" in july of 98, he turned the Key club on the sunset strip upside down.....performing in front of a
packed celebrity crowd n fans waiting in line since noon earlier in the day,
he gave them their money's worth playing 4 over 3 hours n dancing with a
transsexual onstage when playing "come on"....if u r in l.a. and want 2 know,
email me immeadiatly n i will let u know asap.....he has not announced if he
will perform ....but it will be the day of or night of....there r rumors
circulating that he will be attending a d'angelo show who is performing on
the sunset strip's house of blues 4 3 more dates.....will he jam with
d'angelo.....we don't know since tickets 4 these shows went on sale while i
was in florida.....



"special"

the rumor xperience-with the now non-news version of Love41another up, there
have been nothing but rumors floating high n low as fans n friends scramble
4 news....obviously it is hard 2 tell at 1st what is true n what is not
true..."who do u trust? nobody" let's go thru the rumors shall we?;
Prince/0(+> has given up on promoting "rave". FALSE people remember how
fast after graffiti bridge came out he refused 2 release anything else after
the "new power generation" single....this is real real big 4 the man....this cd shows his market value 2 the public...if he lets this slide it badly hurts
him signing with a major label again.....the word at the pre grammy arista
party is 2 relaunch the cd n repromote it.....so when he does some talk
shows, the word brand new will be used 2 describe "rave".....u never know..he
could trash arista at the soul train awards.....u never know with the man



rumor#2 prince record's track with michael jackson FALSE
it was offered to him as we reported but never accepted. instead it was 2 be
with whitney houston for her upcoming "greatest hits" cd n michael's new
cd.....this never happened as well since michael did not like the way it
sounded with her.....so the song is not even 4 michael anymore....whitney
houston recorded the track with george michael...



rumor#-3 prince/0(+> is suffering from illness FALSE
rumor's started floating that he was suffering from a life threatning illness
and can no longer remember his own songs....woo boy....some of u should write
4 the Enquirer (did u see the shania twain expose this week? ) please



rumor#4-prince/ is vh-1's march artist of the month false santana is...nuff said.....



prince/0(+> on vacation?

just what was he doing since the 1st of the year? no website appearing in NYC
2 perform with tlc...what was he doing? people saying he's crying over
rave....saying he got snowed in.....word is he was pracicing 4 the world
tour 2 kick off just b4 summer.....working on the 7cd sampling set and also
working on the remastered version of the HITS.....no word on just if the hits
2 will be released or an entire hit collection...but that many songs n having
2 redo them, n having 2 get the sound just right proved 2 be a bigger task
then he thought....especially with his new no curse word policy.....it was
strenous on him but word is that no lyrics were changed like "the christ" ot
the remix of "face down"



"the Shania Factor"

why is rave worth saving? why will he still promote it? just look at Shania
Twain and whitney Houston 4 the answers 2 that. shania's cd sold slowly but
steadily as airplay 4 " still the one" continued to grow as that was the only
single released 4 over 5 months....and whitney....."it's not right, but it's
ok" was not moving on any charts..so what was done? remixes were made 4
it....and 4 every single since then.....the regular version's just did
nothing so the remixes did.....and now the cd sits at over 5 million
sold.....shania did the xact same thing...with new versions recorded of "from
this moment" and "that don't impress me much" that just blew up all over
radio last year.....the songs were so different then what was on the
cd....yet it sold 10 million plus and a second cd was released with the
newer versions of the songs.....so is Prince/0(+> planning to do the same
thing with the "rave" special edition? yes....already a new version of "hot
wit u" has been recorded n remixed.....n with the release of man o' war
getting released soon, the sky is the limit.....man o'war will strictly be 4
r n b stations..but he is doing what he can 2 promote it....appearing on 92.3
the beat yesterday morning in l.a. 2 do his 1st ever l.a. radio
interview.....the beat used 2 be a humongous supporter n still play a prince
mega-mix almost every friday.....he is still planning 2 do several talk
shows like 60 minutes (did someone say feb.? another rumor) and
oprah.....and most likely some magazine covers.....we will let u know.....



is the 777 update an internet site?

no it is not....it is an email update only and is posted on prince.org with
much gratitude 2 matt.....i have been absolutely overwhelmed with the email
i got wanting 4 the 777 update 2 be an official site.....so 2 be honest i
am seriously thinking about it.....prince org is a great site but with so
many rumors how can u know what is fact or fiction.....so if there r any web
designers out there n u believe in this project let me know...until then 777
update will be sent 2 u're mailbox or read on prince.org.....



r their any rave unreleased tracks....
yes there r....and we have obtained 1...we want 2 send it out so those
interested please email us n we will hook u up...as soon as we get permission
from our "friend"ly source....."livin 2 die" is the title.....



keep your eyes open 4 appearances n such..we will let u know but be on u're
toes...n do not believe everything u read.....

month we take a look at larry graham.....r we blaming him 2 much?.
