The national Danish radiostation "Danmarks Radio" (http://www.dr.dk/p3/index.htm) did a survey on the internet during February to find the top 40 of the last century.



Each artist/band had only one song nominated and there were 200 songs nominated in total. Prince had "Purple Rain" nominated and it reached 22 on the list. However, "Manic Monday" with the Bangles and "Nothing Compares 2 U" with O'Connor were also nominated. "Manic Monday" did not enter the list, but "Nothing Compares 2 U" did and it got No. 37.
