I've Just received the new Maceo Parker album this morning. "Dial Maceo" contains two tracks recorded by Prince. The thing is that those tracks are just the "Baby Knows" and "TGRES" backing tracks featuring Maceo's horn solos. Pretty disappointing stuff. The rest of the album is just business as usual with only a couple of interesting tracks (the Isley Brother's cover "Work To Do" and a thing called "Black Widow"). I'll be Meeting Maceo on the 23th of february -I'm an independent writer by the way- and I'll ask him about his collaboration with the Man for sure!
