Two major Swedish newspapers extatic over D'Angelo's new album:



In Fridays edition of both 'Dagens Nyheter' and 'Svenska Dagbladet', there are reviews of "Voodoo". The writers are virtually extatic about it, and both compare D'Angelo to
. 'Dagens Nyheter' says that the ballads on "Voodoo" clearly have their roots in 'Sometimes it snows in April' and 'The ballad of Dorothy Parker', and it also says that D'Angelo is able to write and perform the kind of songs that is no longer able to - great ones.
