The BBC @ the UK Purple Rave Party

The BBC will be at the UK Prince party filming and interviewing fams showing an interest to be interviewed. This will be a part of an hour long special Prince documentary to be broadcast nationally by the BBC next year.

For those attending...(and a record number of you will) this will be your chance to give props to the man and his music via a world respected broadcaster!!!

Peace.

Two words - BE CAREFUL !!

Many broadcasters and journalists have gone out of their way to make Prince fans look like weirdo's and something like a "Prince Party" may come across to them as a great chance to showcase obsessive fans.

If you talk to them, be aware of how your words may be edited to look different.

The BBC did the omnibus programme years ago and that was great. even though people do take the piss-I think Prince is finally transcending that anlysis and is just being appreciated historically-like a Steveie Wonder character. Even though if somebody is going to deserve high levels of adoration it should be Prince-realistically we all know we should probably not be as obsessive as we are-inevitably we would probably look mad anyway if we we're interviewed even if we think we could justify it before God

Are any orgers planning on going? (I'm sure.) I'm from NY but heading to London tonight for the weekend. I'm debating on whether I should drag my 2 sisters who are traveling with me along to this! Hm...

Hey all, its the PARTYMAN! I was interviewed by the people from BBC, totally cool, we got nuthin to worry about! The interviewer was a babe! The night was, as last year, a night to remember, The show by Glam Slam was kicken, They played Partyman twice, so I was a happy Aussie! Great people, a real good feeling in the place, thats why I keep coming back to London for the show. See you all at next years event! PS Good to see an appearance with Lenny Kravitz too! Thanx for a great show, to all those responsible!
