"The Upper Room with Joe Kelley" radio show has begun playing songs from the standout new Prince "One Night Alone Live" Box Set". The box set features music from one of the most dynamic musicians and his incredible band, the New Power Generation. In addition to the 2 CDs of the One Night Alone concerts, there is a bonus CD called "It Ain't Over" which includes music from Prince's legendary aftershow jams on the One Night Alone tour.

I've just checked my account on the NPGMC saids "still in progress". I think that we will get the box set next weekend, 1st December, two weeks before he appears on the Tonight Show. Thats my opinion.

But will it be shipped then or actually arrive at our doorstep? You know, the closer we get to Christmas, the more packages will be send.
Right now I'm getting the idea that they'll wait until the japanese leg of the tour is over. Though I wouldn't know why.

I've also seen the ONE NITE ALONE tour in Hamburg and Berlin and have never ever accepted any criticism of Prince!

THis set is going to silence naysayers once again. I heard some of this in the studio at the listening sessions during Xenophobia and it is the great live Prince collection that we have wanted for years.

Just listen to the upper room. This CD is going to be " " no word to describe! I am listening to The Rainbow Children live as I write. The CD better turn up soon, cus after this weekend I will be gagging for more!!

It's free promotion, you'd think they'd have a link or a blurb on the NPGMC site, but instead we hear about how fat and shifty americans are.

So far for "first exclusive access" to new music from Prince
and the NPG eh.

So now everyone with internet [sans firewall] can listen to
this thing, and just about every z-list celebrity in the
country has heard the thing too either at listening parties
or from copies that Prince has strewn around.

So what gives? Will we receive this thing BEFORE he goes on
the tonight show and promote the club again, telling folks
they should "sign up" to get this new album?

Or will they wait till after the show so that they can mail
out all parcels at once??

That way, we might actually get it by Feb 14 next year.

This is crazy, he gives some silly radio station his box set and doesnt give his fans a clue on when or what we are getting? Eye'd rather wait and not listen to some 32 kbps live set on some radio station. Congrats on getting hte live set "joe kelly", but that isnt a good enough reason for me to visit the radio station..

Prince is supporting Independent Radio. Nothing wrong with that.

Joe Kelley is a great DJ who has supported Prince, the NPG and Larry Graham with REAL air-play of NEW music for years now.

If anyone deserves the set before NPGMC members, its Joe Kelley.

I guess that we will get the ONA Live Box as soon as Prince has ended the Tour in Japan: 11/29.
ONA, TRC and the current tour are excellent in my opinion. So I´m really looking forward to finally receive ONA Live in soundboard quality.
