Launch article on Prince jamming with TLC in NYC

(Launch) - The Artist, formerly known as Prince, made an unannounced
appearance during a TLC concert at New York's Madison Square Garden
last Friday. As part of the show, the members of TLC kept fans on
alert for "Mr. Evil," who was said to have stolen a bag of cash
during the concert - and at one point, they even said, "Maybe the
Artist stole the bag of money." During the encore, while the hit "No
Scrubs" was being played, the Artist came onstage and he and TLC's
guitarist got together for a short guitar solo. After they finished,
the Artist walked offstage and the band continued with the song.
There's no word on if or when the Artist might again join TLC
onstage. While the appearance was unannounced, it's not that
surprising. At last year's MTV Video Music Awards, the Artist was
asked to take part in the show. While he declined to perform himself,
he did introduce TLC for their performance on the show. At the time,
he said he did so because TLC was one of his favorite acts.
