Prince references in rap

Kind of old news but interesting and controversial anyways.
On the rapper Fat Joe's album entitled "Don Cartagena", Big Punisher raps
the chorus to the song "My World."
The chorus goes "We've been doing this since Prince was the bomb, before
he changed his name and started making wack songs." For all you non
hip-hop, non ebonics speaking prince heads...wack basically means that
something sucks. Obviously because it is the chorus, this is repeated
often during the song. Big Punisher also refers to Prince on his own
album "Capital Punishment" where during a verse he states "it's not
purple rain, but floods of blood stains". I actually saw Big Pun in
concert and not only it is obvious that he is not a musician but he could
not even complete his own raps on stage because he was so out of breath
due to his weight. His crew needed to complete the lines for him and he
sat in 1 place the whole time!!! Only did 4 songs and left. For those
who do not know, Pun has to be close to 300 lbs. He is probably best
known for the song "I don't want to be player"...i just crush alot!!
I've often thought that Prince might be referring to him on the "Come On"
Remix where he raps something to the effect of "haters get flushed down
the toilet" to the sound of a toilet flushing....anyone else think that?
