My feeling is,it's too late.I am a fan of both artists,but at this point,a collaboration would be seen as a desperate attempt by two fading 80s stars.If they had collaborated in the 80s (when people still cared about them),it would have been the biggest musical event ever! But in 2002,no one would really care.

As for Santana...I actually want him to STOP doing so many collaborations,and just make a kickass album with only his band.

Wesley Snipes stood in for Prince on the song "Bad". Why would Prince have a problem working with Micheal now. He did have a problem with the your but is mine line. I don't see it happening. Santana and Prince would be cool, but Michael Jackson is in need of serious help. I usually ignore most of the stupid shit that people do, but M.J. has gotten way too freaky for me.
Did you see that video? It wouldn't have been so bad if he hadn't been so concerned with trying to keep his face and the baby's head covered. Damn...thank God he didn't drop the poor kid. I think he was just trying to let him sit on the rail while holding him, but he was too concerned about keeping his freaky face covered and the cloth over the child's head. The baby probably wouldn't have been kicking if he wouldn't have had a cloth over his head. Then he runs back out and hides behind a curtain and throws something down to the fans...what the hell? I don't believe he meant any harm and he has apologized for the incident, but still.
It is very sad to see the way he is now. He seems to be making desperate attempts to try and get back in the spotlight.
It looks like he has damaged his face beyond repair. Whoever the Dr.'s are that keep giving him plastic surgery should lose their licenses. One plastic surgeon said that he feels that Michael is suffering from some sort of mental thing where no matter how much surgery he has, he is never satisfied with how he looks. You would think the Dr.'s would refuse at some point, but what do they care...as long as they are getting the $$$!

i have been a Michael fan for 10 years now, and "discovered" Prince 4 years ago. I care for both of them. It breaks my heart to see Michael like this. I think one thing he desperately wants these days is to lead an ordinary life, and unfortunately, that's the one thing he can't get.

MJ does not have the guts to do that.

I would hate to see this happen! I love Carlos and I think it would be great for him and Prince to record something together, but I do NOT want either of them to have anything to do with MJ. I would rather see Prince record with the likes of Christina Agullera or even Shakira (both of which I can't stand) than to see him record or do anything with MJ. Prince should not go anywhere near MJ. IMO, it would do nothing but harm to his career.

I really hope Prince doesn't do this. After all the hard work he has done over the last couple of years re-gaining respect from the media and from his peers with his latest tours and albums, a duet with MJ is definitely a step in the wrong direction. It would associate Prince with wacko jacko, making people think P is a freak as well. No thanks.

There's no need to really worry about this because it ain't gonna happen.Carlos should just be glad that he has had the opportunity to work with both artists already (he recorded "Whatever Happens" with MJ,and appeared onstage with Prince at a few shows).He has fulfiled his desire to work with them,so let's just leave it at that.

This collaboration is definitely not happening,aapparently Prince and Jacko had a huge argument in a german hotel room,Jacko got so pised off he picked up Prince and dangled him over the hotel balcony ,but everyone thought it was Jacko's son,even though he insisted it was Prince he was threatening not his own son
